I have been married 29 incredible years to Ken. I am the mother of three: Chris, 25, Anthony, 24, and Melissa, 21

I received my B.S. in Business/ Secretarial Education from the University of MD (Go TERPS!) in 1980. As a certified teacher, I taught Computer Science with a concentration in Visual Basic, AP Computer Science and Computer Applications for 6 years at Archbishop Spalding H.S. My husband and I relocated 3 years ago to the Eastern Shore of MD and now call Ocean City our home. After one year as a long-term substitute teacher in Computer Science at Stephen Decatur High School, I was hired as a full-time teacher of Technology and Computer Science. I am very excited to be a Seahawk! Teaching is my love and passion; technology in education and encouraging young people to embrace that technology keeps me enthusiastic about the future of teaching!

In my spare time, I enjoy spending time with my family, scrapbooking, walking the beach and shopping for great bargains! Having two sons, I am an avid sports fan. The Washington Redskins and the Maryland Terps have strong supporters in our household. I am currently working towards my Master's Degree in Education through online courses offered through UMUC.
