Course Objective: 

“Through technology education experiences, students discover that the word technology has different meanings in different contexts and that different people see it differently.”

In this course, students will learn that technology can be described as products, as processes or as organizations. Additionally, through the study of technology, students will be able to “differentiate between technology and other areas of human knowledge and practice.” They will explore how people develop and use tools, materials and systems to control and live in harmony with nature and human-made environments.
